The Technology: How It Works

Presente Pass servers provide the backbone for a networked, realtime marketplace for time, also known as a Universal Time Interface (UTI). Simultaneously, we have developed our own proprietary strategy for temporal resource allocation, and we call this technology Time Pooling (TP).

TP revolutionizes how we perceive and use time by aggregating collective wait times of individuals to expedite daily activities for everyone. Imagine a system where each person’s periods of inactivity—waiting in lines, pausing for appointments, or simply the downtime between tasks—are harnessed and pooled into a shared temporal reservoir. This reservoir doesn’t just store time but dynamically reallocates it, thanks to an advanced algorithmic exchange that redistributes accumulated wait time back to the contributors, accelerating their queued tasks elsewhere.

For instance, while one person might wait for a coffee, another could be in line at the bank. Time Pooling can virtually swap their wait times, optimizing the overall flow and potentially eliminating waiting altogether. In essence, this technology relies on a collective willingness to share one's own inactive moments, forming a communal bank of time savings. This ensures that no single moment of pause goes to waste.

This weekend at TTITH, we will be “banking” the wait time you spend in our offices when you pick up your pass in the Presente Pass office. Then, by aggregating all of our members' wait times, and leveraging this collective resource, we can reduce your individual wait times in the halls. Under the hood, our finely-tuned, post-modern, neo-marxist machine learning algorithms are working to ensure (e)quality of outcome.

Time Pooling is the embodiment of a progressive, communal philosophy applied to time management, leveraging the power of community to benefit all. It democratically maximizes efficiency and promotes a sense of unity, as each person's wait contributes to the communal good. It's a shift from individualistic time ownership to a shared time economy, promising a future where time—often said to be our most valuable resource—is redistributed in the name of collective progress and personal efficiency.
